May 25th

Today was the last day of school and I wanted everyone to know how much I enjoyed teaching Science at Inman School. I have attached some pictures that I have taken while at Inman. I wish all of the 8th graders the best of luck!

May 7-19

I apologize for the delay in posts. Since May 7th students have been working on their Science Menu Projects. The purpose of this final project is to introduce high school science topics to students while giving them the option to explore subjects of their choosing.

Projects are due on Wednesday, May 19th. I have attached copies of the menu below; to view press control-click on the image and a larger version will open up in another window. If you would like me to email you a copy of the document; please let me know.

May 5th

Today students went outside to observe, draw and describe various species of plants and insects.

May 4th

Representatives from Junior Achievement presented and did career assessment activities with students today from 9:00am - 1:00pm

May 3rd

Students took introductory notes about botany and entomology. During the note taking, we discussed various facts about plants and insects and some students asked interesting questions. We concluded class by watching another segment of Planet Earth.
